Kazatomprom first-half net profit falls 9% on currency losses, higher costs

ASTANA. Aug 21 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazatomprom's net profit fell 9% year-on-year in the first half of 2026 to 240.4 billion tenge, weighed down by currency losses and higher financial expenses, the company said in its consolidated IFRS financial statements.
