Kazakhstan, Russia to update programs for Ural, Irtysh river ecosystems

ASTANA. July 15 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakhstan and Russia have agreed to update programs for preserving the ecosystems of the transboundary Zhayyk (Ural) and Yertis (Irtysh) rivers for the next five-year period, the Kazakh Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry said.
